Hi, I'm Amanda.
I'm a photographer based in Far North Queensland.
I've been working behind the camera since 2012, building a portrait photography business centred around natural light. Over time, I became known for backlighting — learning how to use light to create soft, natural, consistent results without relying on complex setups.
My photography has been shaped by some of Australia's most unique environments. I've lived and worked in the Kimberley region and now Far North Queensland — learning to adapt to everything from harsh, open light to dense, filtered rainforest conditions.
That contrast has defined how I shoot today.
